After you arrive and take a tour of the office, You will be escorted to the exam room so we can take a look at what is going on in your mouth. The first exam is completed by our dental hygienist. She’ll take your x-rays, check your gums for periodontal disease and check your oral cavity for signs of other health issues. She will also use an intraoral camera to get astonishing, close up photos of the inside of your mouth.

Once we have your x-rays and intra-oral photos completed, we will print them out, along with a few other photos to show you what we can do for your smile. After this exam, we recommend a break for lunch so you can look over your photos, make notes and come back to your appointment refreshed and ready to get started.

This is when Dr. Williams will sit down with you over a cup of coffee to discuss your needs and desires. You will never feel rushed and we give you plenty of time to talk. We don’t talk at you or tell you what you need. Instead, we listen with openness. Why? Together we will come up with a treatment plan to get your mouth healthy – at a pace you are comfortable with and can afford.
