Meet Dr. Kurt Williams

Raised in Salina, Kansas, Dr. Kurt A. Williams attended the University of Nebraska-College of Dentistry, where he earned the class award for “Excellence in Operative Dentistry.” Dr. Williams moved back to his roots to begin practice in Ellsworth in 1990. Since the day he started practicing dentistry, he has felt a strong calling to bring the very best that dentistry has to offer to rural Kansas.

“Not many people know this about me, but my grandmother was raised in Ellsworth and my grandfather was raised in Dorrance. When I was a child, I spent quite a bit of time with my grandparents. My grandfather was a dentist in Salina. He went to Dental School right after World War I. After Dental School, he moved to Salina. But, once a week, he would travel from Salina to Dorrance and provide dental treatment in the back room of his father’s general store. That is simply amazing-that road trip had to be a long one in those days. I wanted to bring that devotion to my practice. After all these years, I absolutely love where I live and I love the people I serve. I work hard to make sure that shows through each and every day.”

 

To stay current with the latest trends, Dr. Williams and his entire staff routinely attend the most up-to-date continuing education each and every year. What really endears Dr. Williams to his patients, however, is not all of the techniques that he has learned; it is his extremely gentle touch!
