Invisalign Clear Braces

Invisalign Clear Braces

Helping Central Kansas Find a Straighter Smile

Are your teeth a bit crooked? Do you have a gap or an overbite that makes you feel self-conscious? One of the main reasons Dr. Kurt Williams practices dentistry is to help people find renewed confidence and relief from embarrassment, and Invisalign clear braces are one of our favorite methods of doing just that. They work the way traditional braces do, but without the obvious metal wires or brackets that people usually associate with orthodontic work.

How Do Invisalign Clear Braces Work

Person with gloved hands inserting a clear dental aligner into their mouth. Text overlay reads, "Invisalign Clear Braces use a series of aligners to gradually straighten your teeth.

Instead of wires, Invisalign uses a series of aligners to gradually straighten and perfect the alignment of your teeth. These aligners place gentle yet consistent pressure on the areas that need to be corrected to encourage them to into their ideal position. You wear each aligner in the series for about two weeks. It only takes about a year to complete your straightening with Invisalign (and some patients take even less time!) while traditional braces can take two to three years.

Why Choose Invisalign Instead of Traditional Orthodontics?

The thing that makes Invisalign clear braces so special is that they are almost invisible in your smile! That means that even while we are treating you, your lifestyle doesn’t have to change at all.

A person is holding and inserting a clear dental aligner into their mouth. Text on the image reads: "This is possible because Invisalign Clear Braces are made of clear, medical-grade plastic.

This is possible because Invisalign’s aligners are made of clear, medical-grade plastic and may be removed so you can clean and floss your teeth, as usual, or take them out for a date or other special event. You can even take them out if you sing or play a musical instrument! And because they don’t have any wires, they don’t scratch or irritate your lips the way other braces can.

Isn’t it time you set your smile straight – easily and comfortably with Invisalign invisible braces?
